Honey, There’s Something With The French

I like France, I don’t really like the French. I don’t like it because I’m unsure of how it works and because it’s like a piece of porcelain that unless handled with care could break any moment.

I am not sure about what they put in their food this year though, looking at the strange pieces of advertising they came up with. To illustrate this:

1. Orangina

Is the reason why I’m glad I won’t be bringing my kids up in France. The agency that spent too much time watching hentai-tentacle-porn and lurking deviantart is FFL Paris. I shall forever be scarred.

2. Discovering London

I’ve talked about this before, they seem to be rude or it’s just us me misunderstanding them. The Eurostar ones are saying ‘Go to London and get your kicks‘ in a very literal way. Or just policemen streaking and other strange things.

Advertising is the kind of job where you CAN go to an interview and answer “because there’s so much shit out there, I think I can do a lot better” when asked “Why do you want to work in advertising?”.
